My partner in writing for this short, Rachel was inspired by Two Men and a Wardrobe by Polanski. I, though a Polanski worshipper, was those days obsessing over Maya Derren's Meshes of the Afternoon, a clear giveaway, when in this short, the girl in the farm bends down to pick a stick. For me the story's origin was in dreams, of not being where one wants to be and how it affects you. The 'where' does not have to be a place.
